In this 2 hour workshop queer author, multi-disciplinary artist Emma Batchelor will share the creative process behind the development of her new novel Bloomwaves.
Inspired by recent encounters with queer artists making powerfully personal work, often within a collective. Bloomwavesis both an artistic inquiry and a celebration of community. It seeks to generate new forms of fiction that emerge not only from the self but from networks of embodied, intergenerational exchange.

Come Write - SpringOUT edition

Come Write offers a quiet and focused space for writers to work on their projects while also providing an opportunity to connect with fellow writers.
Each session is set up in 2 parts:
12:00pm - 12:30pm: Introductions and project recap/update
12:30pm - 2:00pm: Focused writing
Entry is free, though donations are welcomed. To RSVP without cost, just enter ‘$0.00’ in the ticket price field.

Queer Junk Journal Workshop

Spend a couple of hours creating a junk journal from cute, queer ephemera!
If you like sticking things on things, making something pretty, and expressing yourself creatively, this is the low key workshop for you.
Everything you need will be supplied, but if you have special stickers, pictures, papers you would like to use for your project, feel free to bring them along.
